Goldilifts ("we," "us," or "our") built the Goldilifts iOS app ("the App") on a simple principle: your workout data belongs to you. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Handle

The App is designed to work without an account and without a server.

• Workout data you enter. Exercises, sets, reps, and weights are stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud container.
• HealthKit data (with your permission). If you grant permission, the App may read from or write to Apple Health to integrate workout activity. You can control this permission at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings. HealthKit data is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties.
• Usage and diagnostic data. The App does not include analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information for advertising.

2. How We Use Information

Because the App runs entirely on your device, there is very little for us to use at all. Any information handled is used solely to provide and improve the App's core functionality — tracking your workouts and displaying your progress.

3. iCloud and Sync

If you enable iCloud for the App, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and synced by Apple across your devices according to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud for the App at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your workout data with any third party. The only third parties involved in the App's operation are Apple (the App Store, iCloud, and HealthKit) and their processing is governed by Apple's privacy policies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account. You can delete individual sessions, or delete the App entirely, at any time. Deleting the App removes its data from your device; to remove data from iCloud, delete it in iOS Settings under iCloud > Manage Storage, or turn off iCloud for the App.

6. Security

Data stored on your device is protected by iOS. Data stored in iCloud is protected by Apple's encryption. Because the App has no central server, there is no server database to breach.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, in California or the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since the App stores your data locally on your own device, you can exercise these rights directly from the App or your device at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where practical, notify you through the App.
